Really fun place to go
Attractions within the museum include a look at prehistoric life, a pistol from the civil war, a mannequin that looks like Michael Jackson in disguise, an uplifting look at the most gruesome deaths in the history of Scott County, and much much more. A truly enlightening and almost life changing experience.
Was in town for work with nothing to do one afternoon and decided to visit this hidden gem. When I got there the "closed" sign was on the door. However, I happened to run into one of the teachers who was happy to open both buildings for me. Very helpful!

Great place
The attractions within the museum are many and varying. Relics of the Civil War and WWII aid in demonstrating how Scott County was affected throughout the wars. Handwritten accounts of the conflicts almost make it feel like you are there yourself. A detailed and interesting history of Scott County (I won't give anything away here) astounds and amazes all onlookers.
