The staff has been very good to me and my two sons that are 8 and 9 years of age the staff was very fast and had me an appointment the next day with Hope so we could start right away trying to find a place for me and my kids. I'm a man age 45 and have been out of work since my 3erd back surgery.The only bad thing that has happened to us was my sons 3ds xl video game was stolen that he got for Christmas from his granny. We hope to have us a place within the next two weeks we have done all the paper work we could do to help us this is the first time me and the kids have been in a shelter as a relative kicked us out after asking me and the boys to move here from out of state I lived here 20 years ago but was laid off from the Hartco plant in Oneida then moved to Florida and had always wanted to return to Scott county. Once again just wanted to say the staff has been good to us. I've decided to start a daily journal are a blog if you will about my stay at the Scott county shelter so good night God bless and thank you Scott county for being home to me and my boys.
